Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is relieved. The third part to the Hera Pheri series is finally set to be made.
The third part will have Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal coming together yet again.
This time, the heroine of the film will be Katrina Kaif and it will be directed by Anees Bazmee, unlike the previous two films that were directed by Priyadarshan and Neeraj Vohra respectively.
The film will be called Hera Pheri 4 instead of 3. The reason for doing so will be given in the promos of the film when it is ready.
Akshay Kumar was earlier having date issues but he managed to fit in Hera Pheri into his schedule anyhow. Meanwhile, he is going to be seen with Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal in De Dana Dan.

Earlier we had it that Shah Rukh Khan has a production venture in his kitty. The movie is said to be titled ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ and will be a directorial debut of Roshan Abbas, who is an active theatre personality and radio guru.
However the director rubbishes the rumours of the movie to be based on social networking sites. “The film is an adaptation of a play I had written and directed way back in 1999 called ‘Graffiti’ about life at high school. That play was set in ‘99 and this film is set in 2009 so it’s but obvious that I would be having some elements which the youth of today connect with one of them being social networking sites such as Facebook. However, beyond that there is no real connection. The film is set in a high school and will try to capture the various emotions such as love, jealousy, pride that one goes through during school days. I believe some of the best days of our life are the ones that we spend in high school and it is this period of one’s life that the film will portray,” stated Roshan.
The music of ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ will be handled by Pritam whereas the shooting will start next month.

![[AllTheBest3.jpg]](http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kjT9i7noPkw/SqNkLqh7-jI/AAAAAAAAASg/Yo3TH3RZ7RA/s1600/AllTheBest3.jpg)
Comedy is serious business and Rohit Shetty is a pro at this genre now. This time, the talented director seeks inspiration from RIGHT BED, WRONG HUSBAND and what works to the advantage are two factors - the written material and the right casting. Both are just right!
From time to time, it has been noticed that some films are made with the motive of keeping you entertained. ALL THE BEST is one of those films. Go, have a blast this Diwali!
Veer [Fardeen Khan], a singer by profession, is greedy of extracting extra pocket money from his brother Dharam [Sanjay Dutt], a business-honcho. Veer lies to Dharam that he has got married and his friend Prem [Ajay Devgn], a concept car expert, lends a helping hand in cooking up this alibi.
![[Sanjay+Dutt+All+The+Best.jpg]](http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_kjT9i7noPkw/SqNkP6SDzOI/AAAAAAAAASo/n80mX-5lOBc/s1600/Sanjay%2BDutt%2BAll%2BThe%2BBest.jpg)
Veer is in love with Vidya [Mugdha Godse], but has qualified in the hate list of her father. Prem is happily married to Jhanvi [Bipasha Basu], who takes care of his ancestor's outdated gymnasium. Veer and Prem land up in debts as they had opted for a short-cut to earn easy money.

The two get into a bigger soup when Dharam pays a sudden visit to their place. Time does not give a chance and unavoidable circumstances arouse such situations that Prem's wife Jhanvi is mistaken for Veer's and Veer's girlfriend for Prem's.

Like his previous films, director Rohit Shetty rests the story on multiple characters, with a dozen odd actors in supporting roles. With so many characters in the film, it generally tends to get confusing, but ALL THE BEST has an easy-to-comprehend story and a trouble-free and uncomplicated screenplay [Robin Bhatt and Yunus Sajawal].
Ten minutes into the film and you know that ALL THE BEST is all about mistaken identities. But the proceedings actually take off when Sanju enters the scene. That's when you get drawn into this madcap world completely.
A number of sequences are howlarious. Note Johny Lever's intro. Ditto for Sanjay Mishra's track. Also, when Johny Lever regains his voice - towards the climax - it's sooooo funny. On the flip side, the pace drops in the middle of the second hour. Also Pritam's musical score is uninspiring and the songs act as speed breakers.
Rohit Shetty is in top form and his team of writers, Robin and Yunus, contribute enormously in making this film watchable. Dudley's cinematography is perfect. Farhad - Sajid and Bunty Rathore's dialogue are very much in sync with the mood of the film. In fact, a few one-liners are extremely witty.
Sanju portrays his part well. His sequences with Ajay are truly fantastic. But the show-stopper is undoubtedly Ajay, whose comic timing is only getting better. He plays to the gallery completely and delivers a sparkling performance. Fardeen needs to loosen up, though he makes a sincere attempt. Bipasha is sweet, while Mugdha doesn't get much scope. Amongst supporting actors, Johny Lever and Sanjay Mishra are in terrific form. Mukesh Tiwari, Vijay Patkar, Ashwini Kalsekar and Atul Parchure lend credible report.

On the whole, ALL THE BEST is fun and laughter unlimited. At the box-office, the festive period coupled with the solid track record of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty and also the strong merits will ensure ample footfalls at cineplexes, making its investors laugh all the way to the bank. Recommended!

On the whole, BLUE has style as well as substance. The film has everything going in its favour, right from its incredible star cast to the superb action scenes to the hitherto unseen marine life to the tremendous hype and hoopla. At the box-office, BLUE will strike like a hurricane in the festive week. It should set new benchmarks in days to come. In short, the business will be humungous.

“I am too shy to walk the ramp. I am not at all interested. All I like is to sit back and watch Akshay, my mom or my friends doing the honour. You will never see me walking the ramp,” Twinkle told IANS at the inaugural show of HDIL India Couture Week that started here Monday.
“I am happy as an interior designer and that is something I am best at. I would like to stick to it,” she added.
Dressed in a fuchsia short dress, Twinkle looked gorgeous. Her presence at the event was due to her jewellery designer friend Farah Khan.
“I am here to cheer for her. She is a friend and an excellent jewellery designer as well,” Twinkle said.

The hectic shoot of Raavana seems to have taken a major toll on Aishwarya– the gruelling shoot has completely drained her and she looks visibly exhausted.
According to our khabroo, Ash took a day off from the shoot and visited an uber exclusive spa centre in Mumbai. The spa centre is famous for herbal and natural use of products which are loved by Apni Ash.
But the catchy news our khabroo gave us is when Ash came on the sets the next day, Abhi bhaiyya just could not keep his eyes off Ash as was the case with others present on the sets….
Well, it seems that Abhi can’t seem to have enough of wife Ash’s stunning looks. Also, did you know that one feature of Ash which Abhi is completely knocked out by? It’s her beautiful luminous skin which seems to get only more beautiful with each passing day.

“Diwali is mostly for big-budget movies with huge star casts and that is what actually brings in footfalls. Considering the buzz around ‘Blue’, we are trying to keep the maximum number of shows for it – 16 per day. We have opened advance bookings on Thursday for the film,” Amit Awasthi, manager (programming and operations) of Spice Cinemas at Noida, told IANS.
Tusshar Dhingra, COO of Big Cinemas said: “Diwali is a big movie season. Even the audiences expect big releases during this time and are very liberal when it comes to spending during Diwali. We have opened the advance bookings for ‘Blue’ as of now and will open it for the other two also in a day or two.”
Anthony D’Souza’s directorial debut “Blue” is not only the country’s first underwater film but the most expensive too. According to an industry source, producer Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd has splurged Rs.80 crore on its making.
It also stars Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan and Katrina Kaif along with Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue in a cameo.
“We are expecting the movie (’Blue’) to stay at number one on the festive weekend with a terrific initial. While ‘Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna’ and ‘All The Best’ will be at the second and the third spot respectively as per our calculations. We are keeping around 13 shows per day for the other two,” said Amit Awasthi.
Added a source from PVR Cinemas: “It is being distributed by PVR Pictures in North India and we opened the advance bookings for the film from Oct 4 onwards on the Internet and the response so far has been very encouraging.”
“Main Aurr Mrs.Khanna” is a co-production of Sohail Khan Productions and Ronnie Screwvala and is being distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. Made at a budget of around Rs.40 Crore (Rs.400 million), it is releasing with around 1,200 prints worldwide.
Starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead, this romantic drama is also made by a first time director, Prem Soni.
Director Rohit Shetty’s “All The Best – Fun Begins”, on the other hand, is a comedy starring Ajay Devgan, Bipasha Basu, Fardeen Khan, and Mugdha Godse. Made at a budget of Rs.40 crore, the film is produced by Ajay.
“We are also going to open advance bookings for all three Oct 9 onwards. Considering the audience queries and the hype, ‘Blue’ is going to take a very good advance booking as well as initial. We haven’t received the censors (censored prints) yet but as soon as we do, we will try to keep a mix bag of all the three as far as shows are concerned though ‘Blue’ will be on the maximum scale,” said Amit Shah, chief manager (programming) of DLF DT cinemas.
Despite an unprecedented buzz for “Blue” and the same day of release as his film, director Soni is unperturbed at the competition.
“I have no apprehensions. It takes a lot of energy for every filmmaker to make a movie. So there are no hard feelings for anyone. May the best win because they are all of different genres and have their own set of audiences,” he had told IANS.

“Usually the Australian government doesn’t allow such film shootings to take place in the Realto hotel, that too on the 125th floor. But when they found out that it was none other than Salman and Kareena who were going to shoot there, they readily agreed,” said a source.
“The view from the 125th floor was breathtaking and overlooked nearly the whole of Melbourne. Most of the romantic scenes between Salman and Kareena have been shot here since the location was important to the scene,” added the source.
Releasing Oct 16, “Main Aurr Mrs Khanna” is directed by first-time director Prem Soni.

“I am extremely upset with this rumour that has obviously been floated by vested interests. I don’t understand how such rumours crop up.
“Farah Khan is a close friend of mine there is no way I can refuse her. There was never any discussion over the movie. This news is utter rubbish,” Asin clarified in a statement.
Farah, who has earlier made blockbuster films like “Main Hoon Na” and “Om Shanti Om”, supported Asin and said: “The rumour is a complete fabrication. I have not even written the script as yet.”
Asin will next be seen in her forthcoming release Vipul Shah’s “London Dreams”, also starring Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan.

“I have nothing against item girls or item songs. After all, they have time and again managed to spice up the proceedings in so many films. However, in the context of ‘Main Aurr Mrs Khanna’, it would be really derogatory to call Preity Zinta an item girl,” Soni told IANS.
The actress features in the song, “Happening”.
The 34-year-old director always wanted Preity in his first film even though he got a dream pair in Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
“While I had signed other actors for the film, I always wanted Preity to be a part of it. Actually, I didn’t even think about any other options and was dead sure that Preity had to be cast. I told her the same and was adamant that she had to be in it,” said Soni.
Preeti plays Haseen Jagmagiya in the film and, thankfully for Soni, she said ‘yes’ without much ado.
“Of course, she did have her initial reservations since she hadn’t played a part like this before. But then she also said, ‘What the heck, let me do it’. She laughed and agreed to be there.
“Believe me, my day was made. I had got all the actors whom I wanted for the film and was raring to bring the film on the floors,” he said.
Preity’s presence enhances the entertainment quotient of the film, says Soni.
“But then she is not randomly walking in and walking out of the frames. As Haseena Jagmagiya, she is quite funny and comes at the point in the film when Salman and Kareena are on the verge of making or breaking their relationship as a married couple.”
How about the other angle in the film, Sohail Khan? Does he bring in an extramarital angle?
“Oh, this question has been asked so many times and I am glad that good curiosity is being built around the film, courtesy a smart promotional campaign. However, let me tell you that the film doesn’t have an extramarital relationship or cheating angle.
“It just tells the story from the point of view of an outsider. Sohail is someone who looks at Mrs. Khanna (Kareena) and sees the kind of issues that she is facing.
“In fact, whether it is Sohail or even Salman for that matter, both of them have an element of ‘main’ in them. They see Mrs. Khanna in different ways and this is what forms the crux of the film,” said the director for whom 16 is a lucky number.
Soni has been dreaming of making a film for the past 16 years now.
“Call it destiny, luck, fortune or sheer coincidence, but now my film is releasing on Oct 16. There is someone up in the sky who is certainly smiling at me. He wanted that the number 16 sticks with me. God has himself written ‘Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna’ for me,” exclaims the filmmaker.
Also starring Yash Tonk in an important role, the film is a co-production of Ronnie Screwala and Sohail. It is releasing on the same day as “Blue” and “All The Best”.

New Delhi, Item girl Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Friday became the first to be evicted from the “Bigg Boss” house. And her exit from the reality show was as dramatic as her entry.
When Jaya’s name was announced as the evicted participant of this week, she shed silent tears and seemed extremely disappointed. She nevertheless hugged some of the contestants and even blessed comedian Raju Srivastav when he touched her feet.
Jaya had shocked all and sundry when she was welcomed by host, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, as one of the 13 contestants of the show Sunday.
Apart from being the most unexpected participant, she also revealed her motive of going into the show – making peace with her daughter Rakhi. But alas, she didn’t get much time in the “Bigg Boss” house.
Her age and non-celebrity background became a major drawback for her in the five days that she was on the show. While she was the oldest participant, Jaya was also laughed at for her lifestyle and her failed attempts at singing and dancing.
On more than one occasion, she was also seen praying to Jesus to help her get Rakhi back. But none of it convinced her co-participants Shamita Shetty, Vindu Dara Singh, Raju Srivastav, Tanaaz Currim, Claudia Ciesla, Aditi Gowitrikar, Bhaktiyaar Irani and Rohit Verma from nominating her for eviction.
They felt she was “out of place”, “less lively” and “uncomfortable” in the presence of a much younger crowd.
The final decision, however, depended on viewer’s votes.
Before leaving, Jaya was asked to nominate one person who she felt spent most of the time in dressing up each day. And she chose fashion designer Rohit Verma. As a result, he will now have to dress up simply for the next week.
“Bigg Boss 3″, the third season of the Indian version of popular international show “Big Brother”, has various celebrity participants locked inside a specially designed house for 84 days. They give up a life of luxury to be under 24X7 camera surveillance for the show.

Ahead of his trial in a rape case, actor Shiney Ahuja offered prayers early today at the Siddhivinayak temple after arriving from New Delhi.
The 36-year-old actor drove straight from the airport to the temple, a little past midnight. He was accompanied by his wife Anupam and filmmaker Ashok Pandit.
Ahuja, accused of raping his domestic servant, was granted bail on Saturday. He flew to Delhi in keeping with the court order which has asked him to stay outside Mumbai till the trial begins.
The Bombay High Court had yesterday stayed his trial for a week as the prosecution sought time to reply to the actor's petition seeking medical and forensic reports.
Ahuja's lawyers have claimed that his DNA doesn't match with that of the victim. Ahuja will appear before the trial court today.

Bollywood’s hunk Hrithik Roshan has raised everyone’s hopes over
his upcoming flick ‘Kites’. But this international project has been really letting down everyone’s hopes with the delayed release. The film was supposed to hit screens for Diwali and now swaps in for the release of Jan-2010 schedule.
Of course, his sweet pappa alone did showcase him on experimental roles winning out the laurels with ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ and ‘Krrish’. And now, they’re much confident about striking jackpot in box office with their hat-trick spell.
Meanwhile, the actor has signed deal for Vishal Bharadwaj’s untitled film that will go straight on the floors by June 2010. Looks like Priyanka Chopra might be roped in for starring opposite him in female lead role.
When approached Hrithik Roshan, he did not let anything out about the project and said, “We will be making official confirmations very shortly…”

Bollywood Trade News Network:
In just 3 days, the gross box office collections of the film in India have crossed Rs. 17 cr on 420 screens. Overseas, WAKE UP SID witnessed an astounding opening weekend collection of more than Rs. 4 cr, on less than 200 screens. It has opened very well across the key overseas markets of the US, UK, Gulf and Australia. In UK specifically, considering that it is a traditional market that favours conventional Bollywood romances, the movie has done excellent business of USD 165,934, while in the US, the collections stand at USD 355,532. In the Gulf, the per print average of USD 9,575, is a whopping number.
Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO, UTV Motion Pictures - ''WAKE UP SID is a movie that has cut across generations, and has surpassed all our expectations with the sort of business and critical acclaim it has notched up globally. For a primarily urban centric, coming of age romantic drama, its extraordinary box office performance reflects that themes and subjects which were considered 'niche' in the past have now completely broken into mainstream cinema - not just in India, but also in traditional markets, like the UK. The excellent word of mouth the film has generated will ensure a long and successful run.''
WAKE UP SID is the story of a quintessential Mumbai rich kid who is wealthy, lazy, and completely lacking in focus. An unexpected meeting with a girl from Calcutta; a driven, bold, and ambitious writer who has moved to the city to realize her dreams, results in a summer of discoveries, realizations, and a 'coming of age' for Sid.

Film industry is abuzz with the news that Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have decided to produce as well as act together in a film. While the script is still being finalised, buzz in trade circles is that the film will be co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Salman's brother Sohail Khan's production house.
According to an industry insider, Salman and Aamir will have equal footage in the film. The rest of the cast is being finalised and the director will also be on board pretty soon.
For long Aamir maintained a discreet distance from Salman. Apparently, post their scuffle during Andaz Apna Apna, the duo never saw eye to eye. However, post the release of Ghajini, things started thawing between them and with Aamir obliging to Salman's request to walk the ramp for him, it became evident that the reports about them planning to work together were more than mere rumours.Labels: Aamir Khan, News, Salman khan 0 comments
