Apart from Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor too made a bid for the new Pune IPL team but they lost to the Sahara group. However, Saif is not at all disappointed that he lost the bid. Saif says, “It is a business proposition that made sense to us at a certain price, but certainly not at 370 million! And it does not make economic sense to us anymore.” He was only bidding because he belongs to a cricket family. Saif said, “I was bidding because we love cricket. And glamour and IPL go well together but as I said at a certain price only.”
Earlier this month, Saif Ali Khan and Kareeena Kapoor were planning to bid for the IPL team along with Karisma and Sanjay Kapur. A sudden change in the rules ruined the entire plan.
